We got a reply to one of our proposals with good feedback, advice and suggestions. Having travelled along one avenue we find ourselves ready to start along the next one perhaps even more appealling than the last. So we are taking the evening out, watching "Elizabethtown" on television and eating cauliflower cheese. Perfect. (Especially combined with Mark's "Mars" bar desert).
I had a great lunchtime with Allan. We talked about all sorts of stuff but mostly about going to Arran. It is wonderful to have friends be so excited and supportive. It gives us energy to get on with it. Thank you to everyone who has been kind enough to get in touch with us.
This evening we talked about how we want to move on with achieving our goals. Mark does not want to compromise his decision to leave Kippax and his current role. He is ready to step out to do something new and valuable and fun. As his good friend remarked "What are you still doing here?". I hope I have co-operated with everyone I know whenever and however I could. It has provided experience, heartache and beautiful experiences which will be with me until forever. Now Mark and I have finally found each other, we want to collaborate on this next avenue of our lives and be happy. Cheesy isn't it?
By the way Elizabethtown is a pretty good distraction, ending with a slightly refridgerated quote "those who risk win". Win what? Can't hardly wait to find out.
